America Day

The second public event of HELLO Village!
On July 2nd, we had AMERICA DAY, in which our ALTs from the U.S, Nick from North Carolina, Stacy from California, and Max from Detroit made presentations about America. They talked about the flag, history, and food, including quiz time. During break time, the participants enjoyed watching fireworks on the screen which celebrate the Independence Day (July 4th), having hotdogs and lemonade which are common foods for the holidays. Then, they learned again American things, such as American sports, music, famous people/inventors and famous places. They must have felt like being in America in our HELLO Village!

7月2日（土）、英語村一般対象イベント第2弾として、「アメリカデー」を実施しました。本校ＡＬＴのニック先生（ノースカロライナ出身）、ステーシー先生（カリフォルニア出身）、マックス先生（デトロイト出身）の3名の先生がアメリカについてのお話をしました。国旗の由来や国の歴史や食べ物についてのお話のあと、アメリカの独立記念日のお祝いの花火の様子を見ながら、アメリカの休日で一般的なホットドックとレモネードを皆でいただきました。その後アメリカのスポーツや音楽、有名な場所や人物について学び、さながらアメリカにいるようなひと時となりました。
