Committe Members of Kyoto City Board of Education visit HELLO Village

On June 30, Mr. Arita, Superintendent of Education in Kyoto City and the 4 other committee members of Kyoto City Board of Education visited Hiyoshigaoka English Village, HELLO Village. We explained the outline of HELLO Village, followed by students’ impressive presentation in English. After that they were in the communication space in HELLO Village, talking to students there in English. The students who were talked to seemed to be a little nervous, but they enjoyed talking to them. One of the committee members said, “I wish I could attend such a wonderful school like this!” They highly praised Hello Village and various activities there.

6月30日（木）に在田京都市教育長をはじめ、教育委員5名の方に本校の英語村の見学をしていただきました。まず本校より英語村の概要をご説明し、その後２年次生の生徒のプレゼンを見ていただきました。最後に英語村の昼休みの様子を実際に見ていただきました。教育委員の先生方は生徒に英語で話しかけられ、生徒たちも緊張しながらも英語で対応していました。教育委員の一人からは「こんな素敵な学校、今からでも通いたい」と言っていただくなど、本校の英語村やそこでの活動を高く評価していただきました。
